When practiced consistently over time the physical practice of Hatha Yoga allows the student to connect with their deepest self, facilitating more authentic connection with others.

Like to learn Yoga but unable to make it to a Yoga School or gym?

 

Monique is certified to teach through "The Yoga School" in Cairns. Trained in the Knoff Yoga System to Intermediate including pregnancy and holistic healing and registered with Yoga Alliance (www.yogaalliance.org).  Students are led through a safe yoga practice addressing specific needs, injuries and issues.

PRIVATE AND SMALL GROUP YOGA

Monique can adapt a yoga practice for you in the privacy of your home. Yoga can be practiced simply sitting upright in a chair if you are not comfortable on the ground.

Ideally enough space to lie down with arms reached out is all that is necessary.   If room at your home is an issue then a rental space can be sourced. Expect a session to last an hour.

A once off class is $90 however the benefits of Yoga are best accessed over time so purchase of multiple classes are encouraged. Five private classes = $325 Small group class prices varies depending on number of students. Contact Monique to discuss.

The most common form of yoga practiced in the west and taught by Monique is Hatha yoga. Hatha Yoga  uses the body and breath as tools to even out the fluctuations in the mind.

 Yoga postures help to build muscle strength, improve range of motion in joints and posture. The breathing exercises (pranyama) combined with the Yoga postures (asana) help to balance out the nervous system.

 

In yoga we learn to control our breath and calm our minds.
